Honored with Best in Business for Saudi Arabia, Al Faisaliah Hotel, A Rosewood Hotel in winning form at travel industry's 'Oscars'
RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA - With a big win at the travel industry Oscars last night, the team at Al Faisaliah Hotel, A Rosewood Hotel is celebrating their continued success and distinguished reputation in the Middle East hospitality industry.
Al Faisaliah Hotel was named Saudi Arabia's Leading Business Hotel at the World Travel Awards, hosted at The Monarch Dubai, among the region's leading travel industry professionals.
Eight nominees were shortlisted in the category of Saudi Arabia's Leading Business Hotel and more than 170,000 travel professionals around the world cast votes to crown the title upon Al Faisaliah Hotel. The win further endorses the hotel's reputation as the best choice for high-profile executive guests and corporate groups who require top business amenities to work out of the office.
"Our corporate executive market remains buoyant and loyal; we pride ourselves in delivering flawless personalised services to business travellers around the world when they come to Riyadh," said Costas S. Gavriel, Director of Sales and Marketing for Al Faisaliah Hotel, A Rosewood Hotel.
"That these awards are voted for by our travel industry colleagues who understand the true nature of the hospitality sector makes it even more rewarding."
The award adds to the impressive string of wins that Rosewood Hotels & Resorts have collected over the years at the World Travel Awards. Al Faisaliah Hotel, A Rosewood Hotel was named Saudi Arabia's Leading Business Hotel in 2008 and previously held Saudi Arabia's Leading Hotel for four consecutive years, this year passing on the title to sister property Rosewood Corniche in Jeddah.
And with Al Faisaliah Hotel's multi-million-dollar expansion scheduled to open in the middle of 2010, including a new wing of 106 ultra luxury rooms and suites, a brand new Mediterranean dining restaurant, and a ladies-only spa with more than 12 treatment rooms, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts can expect to continue its dominance of the Kingdom's travel awards in the future.
Al Faisaliah Hotel, A Rosewood Hotel, forms a towering attraction amid the exclusive shops, residences and businesses of Riyadh's Al Faisaliah Centre. It has scooped a clutch of other prizes in recent years, and is particularly renowned for its spectacular dome restaurant, The Globe, which provides dramatic views across Riyadh.
The World Travel Awards: Established in 1993 to acknowledge, reward and celebrate the enormous achievements in all sectors of the global travel industry.
