In May 2007, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts' newly appointed Director of Sales & Marketing, Costas S. Gavriel assumed sales and marketing responsibilities for the ultra-luxury Al Faisaliah Hotel, A Rosewood Hotel and deluxe Hotel Al Khozama, A Rosewood Hotel, both in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Gavriel Joins Rosewood with over 13 years experience in the hospitality sector. Gavriel began his career as a Sales Excutive with Hilton International in London, England. Prior to joining Rosewood, Gavriel was a Sales and Marketing consultant with Restaurant Associates which is a division of Compass Plc. based in London, England. Previously Gavriel held the position of Executive Assistant Manager in charge of Sales & Marketing at Le Meridien London Gatwick at London Gatwick Airport.

A graduate of The Business School at The University of North London, where he studied International Hotel and Catering Management.

Gavriel is married, and he is fluent in both English and his native tongue Greek.
